Mike's Credit Score is 681

Mike emailed me on Friday that his credit score is now 681.

Mike's bankruptcy was filed in April, approved and done in August. Three months later his score is 681.

I had told Mike that most people get out of bankrutpcy with a score between 600 and 640. In October it was lower, so we looked at his report together.

Turned out that his Credit Union had dinged his credit for court months AFTER the BK was filed, before they got it right. A small thing, but it was hurting him.

I showed him how to do a dispute. And his score shot up.
